Rep. Wortz to Host Local Office Hour in Hillsdale

State Rep. Jennifer Wortz, R-Quincy, will soon host a local office hour meeting in Hillsdale. The representative looks forward to sharing about her work in the state Capitol, hearing people’s questions and concerns, and providing assistance for residents seeking help from state government agencies.The meeting will take place at the following time and location:Wednesday, May 20

Jilly Beans Coffee House, 8:30 – 9:30 a.m., 18 N. Howell St. in Hillsdale

No appointments are necessary to attend the meeting. Those who are unable to attend but would still like to share their thoughts with the representative may call her Lansing office at (517) 373-1788 or reach her by email at JenniferWortz@house.mi.gov.

Wortz represents the 35th House District, which includes all of Branch and Hillsdale counties and the city of Hudson in Lenawee County.

State Rep. Jennifer Wortz (R-Quincy) this week unveiled a bill package to give Michigan drivers more affordable options for auto insurance requirements. House Bills 5886-5889, also sponsored by Rep. Nancy Jenkins-Arno (R-Rollin Township) and Rep. Joe Tate (D-Detroit), will align Michigan’s auto insurance coverage requirements more closely with other states.
