State Rep. Beau LaFave, of Iron Mountain, will host local office hours on Sept. 25 to meet with Delta, Dickinson and Menominee county residents.
The office hours schedule for Friday, Sept. 25 is as follows:
- 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CDT at Ace of Clubs, 100096 M-95 in Sagola;
- 2 to 3 p.m. EDT a Ludington Grill, 1110 Ludington St. in Escanaba; and
- 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. CDT at R Place, W3707 U.S. 2 and 41 in Spalding.
“Being accessible to the people I serve has always been a top priority of mine,” LaFave said. “I look forward to meeting with Delta, Dickinson and Menominee residents to discuss all the important things happening in Lansing, and answering any questions they may have.”

State Rep. Beau LaFave today testified before the House Judiciary Committee in support of his plan to clarify Michigan’s state laws to protect the private property rights of Michigan residents.
State Rep. Beau LaFave, of Iron Mountain, and Greg Markkanen, of Hancock, today said they both support a new state budget approved by the Michigan House that protects funding for K-12 schools, local communities and other shared top priorities of Upper Peninsula families.
Rep. LaFave talks about discussion in the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday on his HB 5540, which would limit Department of Natural Resources searches of private land in Michigan to certain parameters in the absence of a warrant.
